Our approach at First Line IT is practical and hands-on. Our engineers are all basically problem-solvers who like building things that are going to be useful – with a minimum of fuss, technical jargon, or business-speak.
We work in partnership with you to understand your organisation, and customise our services so that they are doing exactly what you want.
We could be hosting all your servers, managing your business continuity plans, or simply providing a help-desk for your staff. Many of our clients have also asked us to manage one-off projects such as an office move or implementation of a new system.
Our business is built on having strong relationships with our clients. You’ll meet our directors regularly, and not just when we’re negotiating the contract. You’ll also get to know our engineers – most clients say they feel like an extension of their own team.
Our engineers know what they’re doing. We recruit experienced staff and encourage them to continue their development throughout their careers with us. What is more, they keep themselves right up to speed with the latest technology, and enjoy working together to solve the more difficult challenges as they come up.
We are scrupulously fair and transparent about our charges. It’s why we were the first IT support company to dispense with the 12-month, pay-up-front agreement, and also the first to introduce an hours-based contract that was fair to the customer. We don’t charge for travel time
