Carbonite is a remote backup solution that costs just $49.95 per year.

Yes, that's US$49.95 not £ Sterling, irrespective of the amount of data that you backup. It's simple to use and ideal for home users or smaller businesses, although we wouldn't recommend it for backing up more than about 100GB of data.

Some of us at First Line are using Carbonite at home and we've recommended it to a few clients as a 'belt and braces' addition to their tape backup systems.
