David Swinburne

David is an IT Support Engineer at First Line

He studied at the University of Plymouth where he gained a BSc (hons) in Internet Technologies and Applications in 2009.

On leaving university David worked for an IT consultancy in his home town of Charlbury and then went to RM plc, an Oxfordshire-based supplier of IT to education. At RM he worked as a service desk administrator, supporting networks and online learning products for around 6000 schools and colleges.

David spends his spare time building mechanical and computer-based devices. He's just completed a 6 foot trebuchet. Angry customers watch out!

One of the things David brings to First Line is an amazing ability to write clear descriptions of complex IT solutions, including crisp and helpful network diagrams.
