And what’s next?

Science Oxford’s vision is to create a world class cultural centre for science and enterprise. However its capacity to deliver this is limited by the physical space available, and they are currently looking for a larger home in the centre of Oxford.

Whilst looking for the perfect new home, it made sense to update the existing one. And this is where First Line has helped.

An integral part of the re-brand has involved physically re-laying out the building with the objectives of:

• making the public areas more accessible
• providing for closer interaction between the areas of operation
• offering a modernised working environment for staff members

First Line were appointed to provide and support an up-to-date IT infrastructure for Science Oxford. We re-cabled the whole building, installed a modern IP-based telephone system, high speed broadband, and free wireless networking for staff and visitors.
